Kurt Maire is a northern Californian singer/songwriter . His music can best be classified as acoustic/rock but there are shades of punk, folk, and reggae in several of his songs. He has played acoustic gigs at local bars and clubs in Northern California and Salt Lake City for the past five years and continues to build a fan base. With help from the people at Killingsworth Recording Company in LA, his first EP Gray Zone features a full band with Tomas Costanza of Diffuser playing the bass and electric guitar and Keith Cooper playing the drums. The EP has received airplay on over 180 college and non-commercial radio stations and has charted in the top 20 on several of them. Kurt recently moved to the San Francisco bay area and he continues to write songs and play gigs. Gray Zone is currently available on itunes and several other music websites in the U.S. and Canada.
