Unfulfilled Lyrics

To stand the test of time,
To stand alone.
To be without the glue,
That keeps us glued together.

And feeling so excrementable.
It only goes to show you,
How many ways you don't know you.
When the bad sets in,

I could use some sleep.
Resting, falling,
Falling deeper than deep.
We miss the point to carry on,

We miss the point.
To carry on where.
Things you love but did not get.
And all the times you've been upset by,

Unfulfilled dreams and visions,
And the guilt for your wrong decisions.
It's so hard to pry away.
Pry out from under all the lies,

And distractions of the world,
You've seen what they can do,
But you can't see your way out.
We miss the point to carry on.

All thing fall through.
That how it feels, when you hear the sound of Disappointment.
So unsatisfied,
When the sight's set higher.

Some can't achieve, don't believe,
There is light at the end at all.
There's no light.
Time to reach out for what's real,

It's easy to miss, insist,
That you shouldn't always follow the first thing you feel.

There is more than one artist named Quicksand:

1) Quicksand is an American post-hardcore band from New York City founded in 1990 by Gorilla Biscuits guitarist Walter Schreifels.

The band released two widely-acclaimed albums, Slip and Manic Compression, before disbanding in 1995. In 1997, Quicksand reunited, and embarked on a successful tour in 1998 with Deftones. Towards the end of the year they entered the studio to begin work on a follow-up to Manic Compression, but tensions within the band caused them to split up for good.

Walter went on to form Rival Schools. Sergio went on to tour and record with the Deftones to fill in while bassist Chi Cheng recovered from a severe car accident, eventually becoming a fulltime member.

2) Quicksand were an obscure Welsh psychedelic and progressive rock band active in the early 1970s. The members were Robert Collins, Jimmy Davies, Phil Davies and Anthony Stone. They released two singles, Passing By/Cobblestones (Carnaby CNS 4015) in 1970 and Time To Live/Empty Street, Empty Heart (Dawn DNS 1046) in 1973. Their only album, Home Is Where I Belong (Dawn DNLS 3056), was released in 1974.

3) Quicksand (Zivo blato) is a Croatian heavy metal band. It was founded in Split in 1998 by folk/rock singer Sinisa Vuco. It's a trio consisting of Sinisa Vuco - which takes the stage name Vasilije Mitu (guitar/vocals), Veseli Sir (bass), and Mala Planina (drums). "Mala Planina" is actually Mirjan Jovanovic - "Toso", a famous drummer from Split. Read more on Last.fm.
