Singer Marijn van Teylingen and producer Rob Gaasterland form the Dutch jazzdance band Hit The Boom in 1993. Christien Oele (rap), Dirk Claassen (bass), Lex Drayer (guitar) and Stijn Claassen (drums) make up the rest of the band that wins the Heineken Crossover Award in 1995.
