That’s how this Los Angeles based musician describes herself.

Electric Starlet (Cece Voise) left the small town in France, where she was born, for the life of a singer-songwriter across the atlantic.
On her own, the teenager first moved to NYC working her way towards the american dream.
Cece has always been inspired by the old american soul records, she instinctively listened to Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Mariah Carey and Michael jackson as a child.
“Music is a universal language, I didn’t know what the lyrics meant, but I could feel it”.
In 2009, she started a project with a metal/rock producer, creating a “rock roots” vibe in the soundings. So attached to Pop and Soul music, she knew she had to incorporate her influences in her music. In love with the edginess of some of the metal elements, there was no turning back, she had to mix hardrock elements and soul vocals. This is how Electric Starlet was born. In every records, metal electric guitar riffs was going to kick it, pop synthesizers was going to make it fun and her vocals would reflect her strong soul influence. “Pop with an edge”.
In May 2012, Starlet released her first single. Self-titled it introduces her character and the genre. “I gotta free the power running up and down (lyrics): I have some much energy, I wanted to express a feeling of releasing fun, crazy and edgy me”.
A club dance remix version of this record was released July 6th 2012.
The genuine interest shown in the social medias left the 26 years old speechless “ I can’t believe so many people are reaching out to support me, I made new real friends from all over the world, they bring the best puissance I love them so much”.
