J. Esho is a singer, songwriter, arranger, audio engineer, and producer who after years of working his magic for other artists, has now fine-tuned his craft and applied it to his own tracks. As a seasoned musician who plays multiple instruments, J. Esho (born Johni Esho to Assyrian Immigrant parents) began his career at age 12 when he started running studio sessions as the main engineer of his father’s popular recording studio in their hometown of Tel Tamer, Syria.


Inspired by his parents who were both musicians, Esho also began producing for other Assyrian artists who would fly into London, Ontario, Canada (where he currently resides) from as far away as Sweden to record in his private studio. Over time, and with the encouragement of family and friends, he leveled up his skills in order to build his own musical career and use his talents to secure a future doing what he loves.


J. Esho released three singles in 2017, including the song Black and White with Kapre, which garnered over 100,000 Spotify streams in its first month and has since gained over 1.2 million streams through Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud and YouTube combined.
