Originally a solo artist, she was the frontwoman for Two Sides To Every Story before they split up because of the butthurt guitarist. She is sexy.

When first introduced to Nikki Simmons, one asks oneself how someone so young can possess so much talent. Then once you learn that her first words were sung and not spoken, you begin to understand. Nikki has wanted to be a singer for as long as she can remember. She takes to performing like a duck to water because she loves to share her gifts with the world. Now, at the age of 18 she exudes the air of a musical veteran. She is wise beyond her years and it shows in her song writing.

Nikki started writing songs on her guitar at the age of 13. Since then, she has been developing her abilities, and the hard work has paid off. Her songs are a beautiful melange of both maturity and girlish innocence, delivered with stellar vocals. Nikki's voice is shockingly powerful, and she is not afraid to let it explode. Her range is not only candy for the ears, it also allows her to tell a more dynamic story through her music. When we combined Nikki's undeniable talent, with the arrangements and melodic stylings of Joshua Rumer, the results were epic. Her track "Goodbye" is a sentimental tale of coping with confusion and regret after her and a loved one part ways. Joshua and Nikki worked on "Goodbye" rigorously over several weeks with writing and vocal sessions to make sure that every word in the song is spot one, sonically and thematically. However, throughout the whole process. Nikki never took herself too seriously. The recording booth was not only filled with her bellowing voice, but also her infectious laughter.

Nikki is not only musically talented, she has also been know to dabble in the dramatic arts. She is quite the little thespian, and has lent her skills to several school plays, and films. She will be appearing on Steven Spielberg's show "On the Lot", and in an upcoming film starring Woody Harrelson and Will Farrell. Read more on Last.fm.
