Kris Nebroso (ex. DJ Halo), real name Chris Osborne, is a 28 year old DJ / Producer from Cornwall who started his DJ-ing life back in 1998, at the age of 16.
Back then he was quick to catch on to the new wave of trance that was being produced at that time, and has stayed true to the scene ever since, never drifting away from the style he loves so much.
His passion for music started way before that, and he puts his fondness for melodic tunes, down to a childhood of listening constantly to various electronic music, which he grew up on and was never without. He was always searching around for really emotional tracks that incorporated unique key / chord changes in to them, which created a certain aura to the track.
Back in '98, he also started to broadcast live, on-air, radio shows for Airwaves 105FM; a local youth-based radio station. Whilst there, it gave him the opportunity he was after, to plug a lot of the promotional trance tracks that he was regularly being sent by small, independent record labels at that time.
For nearly eight years now, Kris has made many appearances at various local venues including; Club Euphoria / Corn Exchange, Camborne; The Zone, Redruth; Tranz@ction, L2; Club International, Falmouth; Grafters; Tall Trees, Newquay; The MI Bar, Falmouth; Party in the park etc.
Musically, Kris describes the current sound he is playing as driving and pure. He feels, at present, that trance is definitely going through a change, in a positive way, thanks to favourite labels of his, such as; Coldharbour, Anjunabeats and Solaris Recordings etc.
The next step for him now, in his words, is to start deeply focusing on all the aspects concerned with quality trance production, and to take his DJ-ing to yet, another level. Read more on Last.fm.
