Stu Perkins is a singer/songwriter based in Virginia Beach, VA. He is an established Christian worship leader and is currently affiliated with Grace Bible Church in Virginia Beach. He has been involved with several local bands, including Boat 14, an acoustic folk band out of Fredericksburg, VA, a worship band called One Clear Call, out of Virginia Beach, and, most recently, is working on a recording project with his brother, Glen Perkins. Glen is regionally recognized producer and songwriter.

Stu's music exhibits a wide range of influences from multiple genres, including rock/alternative bands like Radiohead, Snow Patrol, and Death Cab for Cutie, as well as singer/songwriter influences like Glen Phillips, Neil Finn, and Duncan Sheik.
