Matthew Schellenberg from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada's Royal Canoe wrote and produced the soundtrack for the film Lovesick. The track "Draw Blood" was nominated for the Film: Achievement in Music - Original Song award in the 2017 Canadian Screen Awards.
"It’s really lovely to be acknowledged at this level for a track that is close to my heart — and my favourite on the soundtrack. It’s not every day that it feels like inspiration and craft and circumstance seem to line up on a song, but with Draw Blood I feel like they did," Schellenberg told the Winnipeg Free Press.
