Cardiff’s Pagan Wanderer Lu is an innovative solo artist on Brainlove Records. His sharp, world-weary, witty lyrics and skronky DIY demos were enough for the label to release several well received EPs over the last few years. Since then he’s been lauded by luminaries such as Huw Stephens, John Kennedy and Bethan Elfyn and received praise from Drowned In Sound, Plan B, Bearded, Artrocker and a legion of blogs and webzines. He has performed live for last.fm/presents, BBC Radio Wales, ITV Wales and Xfm, and headlined a sold-out Drowned In Sound with Jamie T, Comanechi, Jenniferever and Maccabees. In 2008 Pagan Wanderer Lu became the first artist to be featured on the ABFM podcast. His 2009 album "Fight My Battles For Me" is his strongest release to date, featuring a selection of much-loved live favourites and exciting new material.
