Deadbloomer is a Norwegian producer and singer-songwriter duo that makes alternative hip-hop. Their first release was the double single "Gutted / Come As You Are" released in late August of 2023. They are perhaps best described by their alternative approach to music, often venturing outside the sonic landscape of traditional hip-hop. Deadbloomer's discography includes musical elements from a wide variety of genres, most notably trip-hop, shoegaze, nu-metal, dreamwave and EDM. Their music frequently explores introspective, emotional and at times existential themes, performed with breathy vocals that are often accompanied by a dark melody projected over slow-paced beats.
