Fascinated by the work of muses since chilhood, Jonathan Voyer participated in many projects as singer, composer and musician. He studied theatre, holds a Bachelor degree in education and a master degree in Religious Studies. At the same time, he has received the precious teachings of Louise Yard from whom he learned the secrets of the Bel Canto singing technique.

Today, Jonathan is a versatile artist who expresses his art both by voice and by the strings of his santoor. He is amongst those few fortunate western musician that have a privileged access to the musical treasures of India. Disciple of renowned santoor maestro Pandit Satish Vyas and of Hindustani classical vocalist Pandit Somanath Mardur he belongs to the rich Hindustani Classical Music tradition.

Versatile percussionist Shawn Mativetsky performs in a variety of musical genres with dynamism and skill. Equally at home in Western classical and contemporary/new music, Indian classical music, and world music, Shawn also composes and performs music for dance and theatre. He is active in the promotion of the tabla and North Indian classical music through lectures, workshops, and performances across Canada and internationally. Based in Montreal, Shawn teaches tabla and percussion at McGill University. Shawn Mativetsky is a ganda-band disciple of Pandit Sharda Sahai of the Benares tabla gharana. Read more on Last.fm.
