Surg1 is an American musician & record producer. Born & raised in Houston, Texas, he started making music when he was 11, through his name than his early alias C-Los. Through his early career, he produced multiple songs and two mixtapes, Stress (2016) and Lazlo (2018), both consisting of 10 tracks. He then started using FL Studio in early 2020, and made numerous releases. His debut studio album Fifthteen was released, with Sixthteen: The Journey To Come Together being the sequel. It wasn’t until when he released Mind Goes Blank to moderate success, eventually reaching peaks with Please Take Care of Urself and Pandora Out of the Box.
He then changed styles with next album, Houston, We Gots a Gangsta Problem, showcasing his rapping abilities.
It wasn't until when he released SURG1NE: PART ONE, an extended play consisting of previous SoundCloud exclusive tracks, to a bigger audience, blowing up with Yeat-sampled "istg I swerved that coupe til I burnt off like congrats".
