There are at least 11 known bands called Noxious and are ordered by most recently active.
1) Noxious is a Japanese melodic death metal unit from Japan formed in 2011 lead by guitarist PEATH2 (ELECTRIC RED) with パナップォ on vocals and Shuuhei Kamada on drums. They released one demo "C81 Demo" in 2011 and a full album "The Remnants of a Chaos" in 2012. They are still currently active.
2) Noxious is a Russian pagan black metal band from Tomsk, Russia that formed in 2003 and are still active. They currently are an independent band whose lyrical themes touch upon such topics as darkness, sorrow and war. They released one demo Демоны Леса in 2006 and a full album И хлынет кровь in 2012.
Their current lineup consists of Sturmtrommel on the drums, Wergarh on guitars and Iskhartakh on vocals and bass. They are also still currently active.
3) Noxious is an independent technical death metal band from Maracay, Venezuela that formed in 1990. Some time later, they went on hiatus but have reformed in 2011 and have since been active. Their current members consist of: Raymond "Memo" Champion and Marco Alfano on guitars, Rafael Gimón on vocals and bass and Delbis "Dellerk" Rojas on drums.
4) Noxious were an independent Black/Death metal band from Galesburg, Illinois that formed in 2003. Their song lyrics revolved around sadness and depression. The band's last known lineup consisted of Shannon Settles on vocals, Frank Terry on backing vocals and bass, Matt Sprinkle on Guitars and Ryan Simpson on drums. They are not currently active.
5) Noxious was a band from the southern suburbs of Stockholm, Sweden. They're an unsigned band for the moment, but have recorded their first demo. Their music can be described as rock with metal influences. All songs are written by the singer Anders Eriksson, who also plays guitar. The other members in the band are Sebastian Wangerud on lead guitar, Erik Bryngelsson on bass and Love Tjernberg on drums. This Noxious also appears to be inactive.
6) From it's inception in 2004, Noxious has worked hard to earn a reputation as one of the premier acts in the southeast US region. They honed a sound all their own by melding such disparate influences as Clutch, Opeth, Isis, Tool, AIC and Rush.
The past five years have seen them tour extensively up and down the East Coast. This band prides itself in producing high quality music & mixing it with searing, entertaining live shows that equal that of many national acts.
They are now making noise in Europe and stand poised to take their own brand of hard rock and metal across the pond. Though they may have some miles yet to travel, Noxious still strive to break new ground.
To them, their fans deserve more than fast food music. They continue to grow as musicians, looking towards the future of music while remaining true to their roots.
Noxious has been inactive since 2009.
7) Noxious was a punk band located in Minnesota that consisted of Lee Verralls on vocals and guitars, J Green on guitars, Luke Ford on percussion and Will Shearer on bass. They are not currently active.
8) Noxious was an old school Doom/Death metal band from Caracas, Venezuela. They released a split called "Grotesque Death" with the band Stratuz in 1992. The band has since disbanded.
9) Noxious was also a thrash metal band from Detroit, Michigan that formed in 1985. The themes of their lyrics often centered around patriotism, anti-war and politics. Their last known line-up consisted of Chuck Mitchell on bass, Greg Baprawski on drums, Gary Chechak on Guitars and Bill Foisy on vocals and guitars. They are currently split-up.
10) Noxious was also a metalcore band from Schneverdingen, Lower Saxony, Germany.
