The Norwegian-Swedish, pop-, pop-country singer songwriter, entered the international music scene and hit charts with her debut single "One day we'll make it home" in 2011, giving her a top 5 placement at Norway's official hit chart, VG-lista, and ITunes-top chart-listings. "Somebody" is the second single off Ellen Xylander's debut album "Unbeatable", estimated to be released first part of 2015. The song is produced in Lidköping, Sweden, by Swedish well known bass player and producer, Roberto Mårdstam (Scotts). The music video of the song is shot in the US, directed by the award winning director, Eigil Langmark.
Ellen Xylander (born in Oslo, Norway, partly Swedish) is a multi talent. Singer, songwriter, pianist, label owner, journalist, motivational speaker, fitness/diet coach, lay judge, model. She has attended Universities in UK, Australia, Denmark & Norway, got major degrees in Communication, Graphic Design and Journalism. In January 2009 she left her daytime job to focus on a music career. She has since been working on her debut album with some of US' finest producers, as well as producers in Germany, Sweden and Norway, and have been on two big European tours (France and UK).
The music video of "One day we'll make it home" was most voted for and viewed in national Norwegian TV, NRK1 Jukeboks, 2011, in it's genre. The song has also won awards in both ISC (International Songwriting Competition) and Song of the Year 2011.
