Singer-songwriter Lenny Kittilsen from Oslo, Norway has been a well known name in the Norwegian music business for many years. He gave out an album with the band Supemanics, and toured in the USA, Mexico and Canada with different bands.
His biggest success as a songwriter came when the single he co-wrote for the Australian band McClymonts, “Finally Over Blue”, was awarded at the Country Music Awards in Australia in 2008 as the song of the year.
In 2011 Kittilsen was finally ready to release his debut solo album “Boomerang”, which became popular at several Norwegian radio stations.

Kittilsen is now ready with his second solo album “Renaissance”. The process of creating the album meant a personal rebirth for him, and hence the album’s title. He spent ten days in Florence on a songwriting scholarship, writing songs. He became passionate about the city and the historical period of the renaissance.
“I fell in love with the city and got a new spark of life and creative energy, and the result was an homage to the city, the song “Florence Night”.
The album’s title became even more meaningful when Lenny became a father in 2012.
