In the Summer of 06 accomplished singer-songwriter Nick Baker decided to elevate his solo career into something bigger. In his efforts, Baker recruited guitar instructor, audio engineer and studio musician, Shawn Steele to add an objective ear, leads andtextureto his repertoire. Shortly after their partnership, Baker and Steele were performing regularly and recording new material. The rate of their success grew exponentially and so did a crowd. After two years of hard work on the road and in the studio they had the green light to expand.

Towards the end of a harsh Ohio winter in 08 the first member of the rhythm section, drummer Chris Cox had all the credentials to be a vital addition. Cox, under a subsidiary of Victory-Omega records, has shared the stage with national acts such as 311, Taproot, Armor For Sleep, and Fly Leaf. Cox's technique and Background would soon prove to be essential in creating the foundation for the arrangements of Baker and Steele. Cox was hired on the spot during his first audition after showcasing his ability to adapt to different styles of songwritng. He has kept the floodgates open ever since.

Winter had come to an end but the search for a bassist had not. With shows booked and songs to record something had to be done soon.Bassist Alex Fraser was working as a staff engineer for living funk legend Bootsy Collins-Former bassist for the godfather of soul, James Brown when he was called and offered the position .While proving himself as a creative ear, bass tech, and strong arm in Bootsy's studio, Fraser has transcended international waters to work with Collins as he successfully fronted the James Brown Tribute Tour. With a degree in audio engineering from Full Sail Recording University, Fraser's knowledge of musical theory and engineering was more than any band could ask for in a member. It didn't take long for Fraser to settle in and make his presence known within the group. His style of writing and Funk roots continue to show through in what had now become know as "Sirens on Sunday".

Since their inception, Sirens On Sunday has developed a respectable catalog of original material, working hand in hand with New Fidelity Productions, Bootsy Collins and Bootzilla Productions.With all the elements combined, Sirens On Sunday has set a course for success in the music industry and is Breaking through barriers that would discourage most. With momentum on the rise, Sirens On Sunday is currently working on their much anticipated debut Ep expected out early in 2010.
