Former lead singer of the platinum selling R&B group Pretty Ricky - then known as 4Play, now solo as Ambition “The Kid” - released his debut album “Spaceship” on May 29, 2012. The title of his album “Spaceship” is meant to be metaphor for the deep lyrics, catchy hooks and commercial beats heard throughout its entirety. The content has the ability to take listeners on an emotional journey between real life and fantasy, as if they were on another galaxy.

Ambition made the decision to leave the group Pretty Ricky to pursue a solo career because of creative differences. As an all-around-entertainer he was limited to the rest of the group’s capabilities. Ambition describes his time with Pretty Ricky as a learning experience. Now solo and moving forward, he embraces the opportunity to share with the world his true talent through his creative writing, mesmerizing voice, charismatic dancing and captivating live performances.

Although Ambition has already shared the stage with acts such as Rick Ross, Trey Songz, Kerri Hilson, and Eric Bene’t and has appeared in various media outlets including Black Beat Magazine, Right On Magazine, Vibe Magazine, Word up Magazine, the BET awards and 106 N Park I can assure you that it’s only the beginning. His ambitions have him more determined and focused than ever before to reach his goal of topping the charts.
