It took almost a decade of hard work to get where The Chant is today, but in the end it all paid off. Debut album “Ghostlines”, 54 minutes of melancholic music full of beautiful melodies and harmonies, is finally released by Shadow World Records!

“We think that making music and playing it is like any other form of art. If you could express yourself some other way, it would be unnecessary to make music at all. The same applies to poetry, painting, etc. The Chant is a group of six individuals who share the same way of thinking about music. We all have our own favourites and influences but together we make The Chant’s sound what it is. If a certain song needs a twist of rock or even pop elements into it in order to work, we’re not afraid to use them.”
