There are at least eight artists called "Ring"

1. Ring- an Taipei based anime song metal band, the name representing "the sounds of the oath". Leading by Hanabi's resounding vocal performing and accompanying by the wall of low tuned guitars and bass. Layering on top and filling the background with the mixture of electric and symphonic sound. This is the aesthetic and texture of Ring's music, and we call it "Beauty and the beast". Over 10 years' experience performing over Taiwan and even across the seas, Ring has the honor to be invited as Taiwan representative band performing along with some top-line anime song artist many times. Recently, the band start to work on the original songs and partner with Taiwan's publishing company, game company, and the other original IPs. Hoping that Ring's original song will has some contribution to Taiwan's anime song culture.

2. A psychedlic prog band from England, active during the 80s, featuring Christian 'Bic' Hayes who would later join Cardiacs and form Levitation.

3. A solo Freak/NeoFolk project by Filip Andersen been going on since March 1998 (myspace)

4. "Vo Vo Tau" the LA music school classmate who was three male staff, has been moved to Tokyo and Kyoto from a woman (Ring) who was born with the band. About two years after the major activities of steady debut opportunity. (Vo Vo Tau)

5. A Japanese progressive rock band in the 70's. They recorded album "The Empire of Necromancers" in 1975.

6. A Taiwanese singer (林楡涵) who released three singles and one album in Japan in 1998, produced by the legendary Testuya Komuro. After the one album, she quit the music scene to focus on schoolwork.

7. A San Francisco-based project, consisting of Patti Clemens on vocals and Barbara Imhoff on harp, in the 1990s. They recorded one album Soul to the Pleasure in 1996.

8. An Iranian due band consisting of Siavash Vaziri and Mehdi Karvandian who work in Iranian underground rock scene inside Iran.
