'the dolphin post' is a nom de pluck for a Norwich (UK) based singer songwriter.

Ian Osborne came late to writing and recording his own songs. Having spent a lifetime in front of the hall mirror posing with initially a tennis racket and progressing to increasingly more expensive guitars, an unhappy love affair with a job led to penning his first tune.

"Having started, just like a dripping tap, I couldn't stop it without professional help...... so I didn't" he says. "I record late at night normally with hushed vocals so as not to disturb anyone, layering my songs with guitar, keyboards, vocals and the occasional mandolin, ukulele and sax".

Ian concludes "I can assure everyone that no animals were harmed in the making of my music, but Pomme the Puppy did look a little anguished at some of the notes I was trying to reach......."
