This is the former band name of Minnesota's electronic band Screaming Mechanical Brain.

SMB looms large on the horizon at the dawn of a new era. As co-founders of a brand new genre, they have chosen music's most difficult path. Them, and several like minded groups have been steadily taking over the underground music scene, growing in power and pushing relentlessly for the day the earth cracks open and swallows up the current trend of boring, cookie cutter, pussy rock music, and leaves the new generation standing strong atop the highest mountain. On that day, Screaming Mechanical Brain will be recognized as the visionaries they are, and as the saviors of rock and roll.

Brimming with creativity, skill, and sheer willpower, SMB fuses every kind of music from throughout history using both digital and standard instruments into a seamless blend of mind blowing rock. There are no walls, there are no boundaries. This band has proven that you can think outside of the box, and still get in people's heads. When these mighty men take the stage, you can move your body in every way imaginable. It does not matter who you are, or what you are into-SMB is for YOU. This is the new standard, all other music is obsolete. No one can stand in their way, so you best join in and enjoy the ride.

Since the band released The Process of Assimilation in 2004, SMB has played hundreds of shows across the USA and sold thousands of records to fans all around the world. In 2005 SMB released The Museum of Barnyard Oddities, a collection of b-sides, covers and remixes that has attained legendary status. In 2006 There Is No God In Space dropped-the band's most daring album to date-and all hell has broken loose. Their independent label can barely fill orders fast enough, and SMB is now being forced into a full time touring schedule by pure demand. Can the boys handle all this hard work and attention?
