Uros Spasojevic was born in 1985 in City of Valjevo, Republic of Serbia, where he began studying the violin at age 9 and at 15 he started playing a bass guitar and a double bass. At 17 he became a double bass player in the youth jazz big band in his home town. He moved to Belgrade at 19 and there he gained a significant experience in playing both in studios and alive with prominent pop and rock artists from Serbia. Meanwhile, he performed throughout Europe with ethno groups and with them he became familiar with the ethno music of the Balkans and the World music. In 2010 he returned to his home town where he formed the first acoustic jazz trio and quartet. In recent years, he has started to work intensively on the popularization of jazz and fusion music in his home town Valjevo. Read more on Last.fm.
