There are at least two artists with the name Swig.

1. SWiG is a nationally/internationally recognized Rock and Roll band hailing from Detroit.

Formed in the spring of 1999 at the onset of the Detroit Music Renaissance the band SWiG consists of only two members: Glynn Scanlan and David Bierman from former Metal Blade Recording artists "Junk Monkeys". Mostly Scanlan taking care of instrumentation and production and Bierman armed with a pen and microphone. With occasional musical guests on their recordings the band has three offerings to date. The debut “Furia”, the “Here Comes The Wind Down” three song CD, and 2007's critically acclaimed “True Grit.”
