Jasper Mook started his solo career with a kickstart. He participated in nationwide TV-show “De Beste Singer Songwriter van Nederland” and ended at the ‘final six’, playing on national TV several times. During several preliminary episodes, Jasper showed his great skills as a songwriter and performer. Next to a growing fanbase and online following, he also convinced Dutch music professionals like Giel Beelen, Eric Corton and Miss Montreal.

Jasper has been working on his career for many years, writing lots of songs and playing over a hundred shows. During his years at Herman Brood Academy, he has been the main force of ‘I’ll Pick You Up’, a pop/rock band that played with bands such as Hot Chelle Rae and We The Kings in major venues in The Netherlands.

As a solo artist, he got invited to play in Barcelona every week, performing in clubs and hotels. These performances supported his thoughts to spread his wings and aim for an international career as a solo-artist. Supported by some covers and self-written songs on YouTube, that generated lots of views and comments, his fame was steadily growing. In the meantime, Jasper negotiated with several music professionals and enlarge his team and prepared for his first tour, playing venues like Paradiso, Tivoli, Oosterpoot, Effenaar and Paard van Troje.

His cooperation with producer Robin van Loenen (Destine) proved to be very effective, ending up in several great songs that shows all the elements that Jasper stands for: rock, singer/songwriter, dance, but most of all infectiously catchy pop choruses. Jasper released his first single ‘Take Me There’ in September 2013. The song was mixed by 9-time grammy award winning mixer F. Reid Shippen, and mastered by Tom Coyne (Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, Adele).
