The Forties are a young and upcoming Pop-Alternative band from Columbus, OH, with a High-Energy style of music that encompasses upbeat guitar riffs and catchy lyrics.

The Forties are made up of Beau Patterson (bass), David Carlson (vocals, guitar), Alex Long (drums), and Alex Wehri (lead guitar). The four met through mutual friends while attending The Ohio State University, and began playing together in late 2008.

Quick and sudden exposure throughout Ohio has allowed the Forties, who average only 21 years of age, to develop a young devoted following, while also creating a lot of buzz for their original style within the Columbus, Cincinnati, and Akron/Kent music scenes.

The Forties consider themselves one of the hardest working bands in the music industry, and continuously work hard to improve themselves as a band, and consistently look for new ways to enhance upon their music, style, and performace.
