As a little girl growing up with only older sisters Renee van Ginkel (The Hague NL, 22-06-1990) used to look up to her sister who was in the fanfare orchestra. Just her kind of thing, dressing up every time and playing on this amazing instrument; the trumpet.

Easily said and done. Renee van Ginkel got playing at the youth orchestra at an early age and got playing the trumpet at show and drumorchestra M.E.T.R.O. from Scheveningen graduated on 4 HaFaBra diplomas. 'Cause she can blow the trumpet, and she's good at it!

Not only playing trumpet caught Renee van Ginkels attention, she also loved singing. Aspecially those wonderfull Soul and Jazz classics by Stevie Wonder, Louis Amstrong, Nina Simone and Frank Sinatra. Her mother always used to say, a honest mom: “Renee you can play the trumpet very good, but you can't sing”. Though, Renee van Ginkel is not easily daunted and kept trying and practicing. Thank God, because now the sexy singer's confinced everyone on having singingtalent with her enchanting Blue notes and wonderfull layed back Jazz timing. She even proofed her mom wrong.

Renee completed the pre-school for the concervatory and started working with several musicians and started recording with several producers. In 2009 Renee van Ginkel got in touch with producer Ronald Leeuwangh from zQence entertainment, with who she would soon start working on her debute album. At the moment she's still working on het album that's descibed as Poppy Soul with just a touch of Jazz !
