Charles B. himself hails from Chicago and is knows as The Grave Digger due to his spiritual and religious background and his ability to sing in descanted. Charles B. writes his own songs by singing them to musical accomplices like ADONIS.

Charles B., full name Charles Bryan Cooper, had never make a recording in his life until he stepped into the studio with ADONIS to record what may well become a dance floor classic. The whole world of recordings artist was totally new to him. Before making “Lack Of Love” he’d never had any contact with the music industry at all.

Singing was always something he knew that he could do but had never taken seriously, although he had been writing songs since his mid-teens. However his talent was not wholly unexpected - his mother toured the world in the 60’s and 70’s as a gospel singer with a group “Spiritual Force” and still continues to sing in her native Chicago.

Charles comes from a family of three brothers and two sisters all of whom sing and play music. Charles’ first involvement on a professional basis came when a friend introduced him to ADONIS, who quickly spotted his songwriting and vocal talent and got him into the studio. Read more on Last.fm.
