About Me
“Reality Suite is a bit of a New Jersey super-group, with members who have long careers in the local music scene. Their fusion of classic rock and modern dance music is a fairly compelling mix since it really doesn’t sound like any other indie band I can think of,” declared Jim Testa - founder of Jersey Beat and contributing writer to Rolling Stone.

Formed in 2009, out of the ashes of three “should’ve been huge” NY/NJ rock bands (Copperpot, 10 Heads High and Fly Me Courageous) spawned Reality Suite. Formed by three life long friends, Brian King (drums/synths,) Antonio Valenti (bass/synths,) and Joe Padula (guitars) – the concept was to musically satisfy themselves rather than be distracted by following current musical trends. With Venezuelan lead vocalist/actress, Miriam Pinedo, elements of rock, pop and dance were merged evolving in to an organic and unique sound. If Depeche Mode, Bon Jovi and The Killers had collaborated - you would have Reality Suite.

Released in May 2010, their first single, Evolution Queen from the EP “Blueprints For Building A Better _____” had gained the interest of former Jive Records A&R rep Mozy Mosanko declaring that it would be a "blockbuster hit." August of 2010 saw Reality Suite outshine hundreds of PA/NJ bands winning the WNNJ 103.7FM Battle of the Bands based on internet voting and their disc jockey's preference.

Reality Suite's sophomore effort, Avoiding the Red Lights was released in May 2012. The more confident and focused album was named “a rock and dance masterpiece” by FrostClick.com. Jersey Beat called it “six songs worth of immensely exciting and energetic pure sonic pow. Damn tasty stuff.”

Following the release of their critically acclaimed 2012 album, Avoiding the Red Lights, Reality Suite released a holiday single donating net proceeds to The American Red Cross for Super Storm Sandy relief efforts. The track, Deliver By Christmas which was an ode to their guitarist’s soon-to-be born baby was accompanied by the fan favorite Save My Life, a popular track more representative of the band’s unique rock/pop/synth style.

Refusing to limit themselves to any one genre, Reality Suite has recently completed the radio-friendly dance/pop single, Girl Crush featuring Bronx rapper, John Bracket. The dance/pop track backed with Square One Squared was an instant hit on Spotify and their bigest selling digital download.

In May 2013, Miriam Pinedo exited the band. September 2013, Kimmii Adorea Heart was selected to front Reality Suite. A new single promising to revisit the band's guitar rock roots will be released in the Fall of 2013. Read more on Last.fm.
