Vincere Sylph's musical journey started in the mid 80's and led to the formation of "The Misericordia" project by 1990, a self-produced project which combined experimental, gothic and world music. His early works were inspired by the legendary 4AD label (artists like Dead Can Dance, Cocteau Twins, Clan of Xymox and others).

The rich mixture of Electro-sampling, dark sonorities, atmospheric and world music which dominated his early compositions, set the tone for many of his current works. By 1990 to early 2000, Vincere Sylph also explored his hidden love for "Synth/Electronica" with singles like "Before End" "Morgana" and "Voyage" a space travel trance odyssey.

Vincere Sylph's passion for the world of film music is portrayed by his artistic work, both visually and musically, on numerous media and music productions, such as the video of "Babel's Sun Last Shedding Tear". This special single manifests an ominous yet evocative cinematic atmosphere by layering dark composition and thunderous percussion with Vincere Sylph's haunting chant and choral harmonies. Early cinematic pieces also include "Winter Leaves", licensed by Platinum Music (www.platinummusic.co.uk) under the title "Depth of Winter". The "Winter Leaves" album consists of three variations of this piece, including the long version "WINTER LEAVES: Before the Storm". With this dreamy composition, Vincere Sylph portrays the ever-changing landscape of winter, evoking its colors and emotions.
