Wonder Lyrics

Every day I think about you
There's no way I'd ever get through
Life can feel just like a tidal wave

You were there to keep me floating
And your smile just kept me going
And your arms, they always kept me safe

Now that you are gone
How do I go on?
Where's the hand that I once held so tight?

It's just not the same
Where's that burning flame?
How'd it burn out though we once burned bright?

Can you hear me when I call out your name?
Can you see me when I jump in the rain?
Can you feel me when the sun hits your face?
I just wonder where you are every day

Na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na-na, na

Every song I ever hear is
Is holding on to what I cherish
Life has not just ever been the same

Even though we're not together
I just know life would be better
With you here, wish you could only stay

I want you to know
Didn't want you to go
You mean more to me than I've ever shown

Can you hear me when I call out your name?
Can you see me when I jump in the rain?
Can you feel me when the sun hits your face?
I just wonder where you are every day

I remember when
We were more than friends

I remember then
Thought it'd never end

Can you hear me when I call out your name?
Can you see me when I jump in the rain?
Can you feel me when the sun hits your face?
I just wonder where you are every day

Can you hear me when I call out your name?
Can you see me when I jump in the rain?
Can you feel me when the sun hits your face?
I just wonder where you are every day

Na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na-na, na

Starting at age three, with the encouragement of her family, Brooke began taking dance lessons. She had a natural aptitude for dancing and soon joined the Abby Lee Dance Company. She blossomed into dancer that would capture titles in local regional and national competitions.

Brooke feels fortunate by the opportunities that have come her way as she continues her participation in Dance Moms.

Brooke’s celebrity status has allowed her to become involved with many causes such as the Make A Wish Foundation. As Brooke puts it “those kids have dreams too, if I can help them realize their dreams then being a public figure is worth it.”

Like any teenager Brooke loves hanging out with friends, going shopping and seeing movies. A straight “A” student and her Dance Moms schedule doesn’t leave much time for socializing “but I do the best I can, my friends are really important to me” says Brooke.

Most teenagers would think that looking at Brooke’s average day, she had a full plate. So, why start a singing career now? “It is something I’ve always loved and dreamed about,” says Brooke, “ when the chance for me to record music came along, I had to go for it”.

With the success of her first single her Record Company showed its faith in Brooke’s ability and committed to the self-titled follow up album “Brooke Hyland”. “I loved making the album” says Brooke, “and can’t wait to share it with everyone. I think they’re going to love it as much as I loved making it”.

Her music is just another extension of her dedication and talent and the proof is in the listening. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
