Words for Now Lyrics

Let me write you a letter
then again I'll send a telegram
Though I know you're not worth the effort
yet again I'll script another scam
Jot it down
Words half wound
Open your Town
I'm a clown, how profound
Make a big frown
Hello move right along
Heres the part I really mean
Don't you dare write me back
I don't care what you're doing
And I don't care when you'll be in town.
Said what I said it's all true
true you know its nearly nothing new
I figure you'll find this letter has meaning than I meant it
Jot it down words have wound up in your town (Up in your town!)
I'm a clown, how profound
make a big frown
Hello move right along
Heres the part I really mean
Don't you dare write me back
I don't care what you're doing
And I don't care when you'll be in town.
(*Whistling*)
Jot it down (Jot it down!)
Words half wound (Words have wound!)
Up in your town (Up in your town!)
I'm allowed (I'm allowed!) write the letter (Write the letter!) with regrets
Hello move right along
Heres the part I really mean
Don't you dare write me back
I don't care what you're doing
And I don't care when you'll be in town.

They were recently featured on MTV2's Dew Circuit Breakout Challenge. Unfortunately they lost (Halifax, was the winner) but the contest gave them a large amount of media attention. Their most recent album is called Schematics and was released in 2007. They were also featured on the Atom and his Package tribute compilation album Up End Atom in 2009 and The Smashing Pumpkins The Killer In You tribute covering Set the Ray to Jerry as an Itunes only bonus track.
