Born and raised in Detroit, the son of ministers, Connor has been singing since he could talk and as the younger cousin of one of the world’s most influential singer Roger Nelson known to the world as “Prince,” music is in his blood. Even as a young child he manipulated the piano along with his voice. Connor has a long history in the limelight and as a child he had the privilege to have trained under the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin and Gospel Star J. Moss.
He has shared the stage alongside award multi-platinum artist Diddy, Robin Thicke, and LL Cool J. His talent speaks for itself, he has opened for legendary/award winning artist Mario Winans, Frankie Beverly, Ginuwine, Fantasia, Ledisi, Raheem DeVaughn, Musiq Soulchild, Charlie Wilson and Trey Songz just to name a few.
