The "3 Cold Men" is a french/brazilian band formed in 1999 by Franck Lopez, Alex Twin and Maurizio Bonito.

Their sound [retro & wavy without sounding old] could be described as something related to, among others, Kraftwerk, David Bowie, Brian Eno, Depeche Mode, Front 242, New Order and The Cure... Basically late 70s, 80s and alternative acts from the 90s & beyond...

So far they released 2 albums and an 12" Single. The first CD was "The 3 Cold Men" (2004 - SSI + SoulFood / Sony), followed by "3 Cold Men | Urban RMXS" (2005 - LadoZ / Wave Propaganda). This one has remixers from all over the world, but mostly from France : Celluloide, Foretaste, Peter Elliot, People Theatre & Nouvelle Culture.

The 12" called "X-Fragile Remixes", which was sold out in just 2 weeks was released by Killabeat Records (Berlin) and features remixes from the well known DJ Spud (GER) and also Playkiddo (GER/BR), DJ Wehbba (BR)[also producer with dozens of 12" releases on several labels in Europe] and DJ Alex Dee (GER).

Last year (2006) they toured in Europe. Like Vive La Fette, Sono and Nitzer Ebb, they played at the Wave Gothic Treffen, in Germany. The other shows were in Holland (openning for I AM X & Gotter Daemerung); Spain (openning for XPQ-21 & Vigilanti), Belgium & France.

On stage they have some guest musicians: Rui Ramos, who played drums for a while in the 80s cult band "Clan Of Xymox", from the Cocteau Twin´s british label "4AD" & Catherine Marie, who sings and plays antic instruments in the band "O Quam Tristes".

"Photogramm", the next CD, is produced by the DJ Rodolfo Wehbba and will be released in 2007 by Lado Z and Wave Records. Their last release is virtual single called "Piktogramm".
