Banda De Rolé is a Franco-Brazilian group born in Paris in 2013, composed of six members, long time friends who met around their passion for Capoeira and music. Their first album "No mundao de rolé" was released in Paris at the famous cultural squat near Ménilmontant, “La Miroiterie”

This band brings together several personalities from various cultures and musical background: Brazil, West Africa, North Africa, Caribbean, Reunion Island. The result is a Samba / Reggae / Funk / Rock / Hip-Hop musical big bang. In summary: some kind of Brazilian Afro-Punk.

“Axé” , meaning“Positive Energy” in the Yoruba language, is the leitmotif of the group. Through their lyrics, Banda De Rolé promotes cultural exchange and respect of Brazilian traditional cultures, whilst raising concerns about our modern society and the social situation both in Brazil and Europe.

The album "NO MUNDÃO DE ROLÉ", was mixed in South London at the famous Mad Professor’s ARIWA studio (MUSICAST distribution).
