ITIDA is an acclaimed singer and songwriter whose music reflects a rich tapestry of Eastern and Western influences. The Los Angeles-based Indian-American artist is a disciple of the legendary Padmavibhushan Dr. Girija Devi, carrying forward the vocal traditions of the Benaras Gharana. Her unique style, which blends Hindustani classical, Sufi, and folk music with modern elements, is captured in her highly successful albums, Pen & Paper (2013) and Des-Pardes (2014), both of which were celebrated on the Top 10 independent music charts in India.
