Negative Impact is a hardcore punk band that was formed in 1998 Haifa, Israel by Nir Doliner (Whorecore) on drums and Yotam Ben Horin (Useless ID, Superdrive, DPA) on vocals, guitar and bass,with influences like: Dag Nasty, Gorilla Biscuits, Battery and more. The band cemented a hardcore sound. The two made a 3 song demo tape in search for a bass player to shift the band to a live act. The band was then rounded out by Adi Alkabetz (Dir Yassin) on bass and played several shows with the likes of Useless ID, Code 13 (USA), Y (germany) Nekhei Na'atza, DPA, U.S.F and other local heroes. During the second batch of recordings, Adi quit the band and was replaced by Evil Haim (Whorecore, Nail Within, Lehavoth) to take over the bass duties. After several more shows, the band called it quits, leaving behind 3 sessions of home recordings, yet no official release. The band reunited in 2001 for 1 show in Haifa with Ishay Berger (Useless ID, בוא לבר) on guitar and Yotam on vocals only. They promised to do more shows which never came to pass until 2011, when they reunited for a one off show in the Rugatka Veggie Bar in Tel Aviv.
