Rob Milton is a singer, songwriter, and journalist, born and raised between New Jersey and Virginia. A former MTV Networks intern and currently serving as a contributing editor for Soulbounce.com, Rob Milton has a way with words whether in song or through journalistic work. He has always been passionate about sharing and discussing the music, media and entertainment industries. He has been granted the opportunity to interview Kimberly Nichole, Charles Perry, Martin Parks, Joi Starr, Mali Music and member of the legendary gospel group, The Clark Sisters, Dorinda Clark-Cole.
With great pleasure and the help of producer Roman Lee, one half of rising duo Black Fantastic, Rob Milton started off the year 2012 by presenting the world with his first piece of work, The Love Today EP. Full of soulful samples and inspiring lyrical content, this small collection of songs managed to reach an audience ranging from New York to London. Songs from The Love Today EP, including “Off Key” featuring J. Caldwell, have been featured on multiple blogs, online radio mixes as well as Detroit's WDET 101.9 FM Soul Sunday playlist. Milton was also featured on the track "Lazy" on Jacque Hammond's debut project, Lazy Love.
Following up in September with The Shine Tomorrow EP, Milton continued to present the perfect introduction to his raw inspirational soul sound. Lauded by WhenGiantsMeet.com, IMadeInTruth.com, PraiseBreakLive.com and Soulbounce.com, the Shine Tomorrow EP included the hit single "Shine" which is currently in rotation on Look Up Radio and Morgan Rhodes' Sunday morning broadcast on 90.7 FM KPFK in Los Angeles, California.
