Monster Eats Manhattan - formed the winter of 2008 with veterans of the midwest music scene: vocalist Andrew Blackwell, guitarist Denny Blackwell, guitarist Matt Barger, and bassist Nick Ellis. Shortly after, drummer Alex Rivera, joined the ranks bringing his extensive experience as a performance and studio percussionist. After spending close to 2 years developing their modern, epic-rock sound and cranking out a self titled EP, Monster Eats Manhattan hits the road now in 2010 - 2011.

Spreading their rock-n-roll mantra of worldwide equality, self introspection, and responsible evolution, Monster Eats Manhattan tries to do more than play to the ears of the masses, they send a significant message. What's in a name? "Monster"; the human condition. "Manhattan"; often referred to as the pinnacle of modern society. How often we forget what really matters in our lives. "This will be our eulogy, because in the end we are but memories. And what we are will always be defined, by the way we live our lives." (lyrics from 'you and what army'). What will you leave behind? What will be your legacy? Whether an individual is regarded as famous, infamous or even remembered at all is solely that person's responsibility.
