Johnny Good first began in early 2005, when singer/guitarist Johnny Good and drummer Isaac Jacques began jamming together in a small bedroom. With only a Westbury drum kit and a 30 Watt amp, the two began writing a couple songs every week. Craving a complete band, the two immediately tried countless musicians to try and find the next addition. Finally, more than 16 months later, they finally found the right guitarist to help create the sound they wanted. Long time friend Oliver Galloway joined Johnny Good in June 2006 on lead guitar. Scott Gailey was later added as a member of Johnny Good on keyboards, guitar, vocals, and aux percussion. After the departure of bass player Kory, long time friend and band photographer Chris Hewitson was added to finalize Johnny Good.
Currently Johnny Good is preparing to step into the studio to record their debut album.
