Timothy Hendricks was born on 22 april 1982 in Port Elizabeth,South Africa.He started writing music at age 15 and took up the guitar as a result of wanting to sing and write songs.At 16 he also took up drums.At 18 he taught himself to play piano and bass guitar.Tim has played in various groups and bands throughout his musical journey.In 2003 he joined a cover band called Copperscotch that played all the local bar/club venues in the Eastern Cape,South Africa.They appeared in local newspapers as a result of growing popularity.Then in 2004 entered a national television competition called Project Fame.He got to the final 26 of the competition comprising of 19 000 entries.The contest was about being able to write songs,sing and play an instrument.In September 2004 after Project fame Tim decided to take up music seriously and went to London for the first time to live.In London he performed at the Blue Jay in Shepards bush on thursday evenings.things didn't work out so he left for Johannesburg South Africa,home.He formed a 3 piece called Night Garden Cafe and played to local Joburg curcuit for 18months.In 2007 Tim decided to go Solo as he was really interested in writing his own original material.He is currently recording his new album at his home studio in Johannesburg,South Africa Read more on Last.fm.
