Sonios were an indie/progresive/jazz band from Ensenada B.C . Mexico. They lasted 9 years (1991-2000). They recorded their debut album (after the self released demo tape, 'Medusa y el mar' 1995), called '200 Fonios' in 1997, released by the independent label Nimboestatic in April of 1998.

In addition the group participated in many compilations like 'Estrella de Fácil Retorno' with thier song "Kali" and 'La tejedora de Nubes' with their songs 'Monarca', and 'Cantaleta'.
