There are two notable artists with Lela.

1) lela (レラ) is a Japanese singer-songwriter signed to Village Music, a sublabel of Sony Music Entertainment. She made her major debut in 2009 with the mini-album Hadaka no Tsuki (裸の月 "Naked Moon").

lela was born and raised in Hokkaido, and took her stage name from the Ainu word for "wind". As a child, she suffered from anthropophobia and as a result rarely left her house or spoke to people outside of her own family. She instead expressed her true feelings through music, which she began writing at the age of 12. She was discovered when she was 14 years old and spent nine years training before her major debut. For a brief period, lela was trained by Eiko Shimamiya, and worked with I've sound. Prior to being signed with Sony Music Entertainment, lela released a total of 5 indies singles under the name Tae (妙), including a cover of Eiko's Uchuu no Hana (宇宙の花).

In January 2010 lela released her first digital single, a cover of Chihiro Onitsuka's song Gekkou (月光 "Moonlight"). lela's second mini-album, Jukai no Tsuki (樹海の月 "Moon of Woodlands") was released on June 23, 2010.

Due to her health issues, lela has currently no plans to perform live.
