Laurin is a German alternative rock band founded in 1996 in Dresden.
The band plays a mixture of alternative rock and heavier sound, though it’s not metal or hard rock in the common sense. There is certainly a psychedelic touch to it. The hard-to-describe style embeds powerful and intelligent german lyrics.
The band records and produces on their own. An album was planned in 2001, but the lack of money, time and support prevented the release. There are new recordings planned for 2011 and at least an EP.
