ninefall, A hard hitting metal band originating from the small town of Kearney, NE has been bound and determined to get their music heard. With the perfect blend of soulful lyrics, monstrous guitar tones and a bone crushing foundation, the band is well on its way and has what it takes to go far and make its mark on the metal scene. With continuous support from radio, dedicated fans, and other area bands, ninefall has created a buzz in the Midwest big enough to percolate the ears of respected label companies such as Elektra and Universal/Republic records. In March of 2001, Eric Lauer, former singer/guitarist from the Kearney band Purge and Matt Eigenberg, percussionist from the same band were asked to join ninefall. The new group quickly rehearsed and jelled instantly, breathing new life into the band. Within a matter of weeks, seven new songs were written and in June of 2001 ninefall stepped into Upper Room Studios for the 2nd time to begin recording their sophomore effort entitled Reflection of the Change. Reflection of the Change is a big step from anything ninefall has done in the past. Not only is the growth and musicianship evident, but also a new sound for the band has been achieved by having two vocalists in the band. With songs like believe which has been released on local radio station Hits 106, and crowd favorite Drown, ninefall has embarked on a new sound that hopefully propel them towards a higher level. ninefall has proven to be a band that will stand the test of time and through consistent show dates and loyal friends and fans the band will continue to grow and hopefully reach the stellar goals that each member has been determined to reach for some time. We are a band that is solely driven by the love of music and performing it live, and wed like to continue to make music for our friends and fans of our music.
