Giving The Table A Name is avant-indie rock, comprised of one Jeff Allyn Szwast, who writes and records all ingredients. Generally a bit atmospheric, GTTAN ranges from scaled down acoustic dirges to complex textural crescendos to sludgy vomit-rock.

Szwast spent a quarter century living in Georgia, and has been based out of Brooklyn, NY since 2002.
