All the Ways You Let Me Down Lyrics

You say my heart's not big enough
to hold the distance between us
well the distance has never felt as big
as when you're lying right next to me

You want to fight for our love
darling don't you think we've fought enough?
will you make up your mind
tell me what it is you want

Cause I could count all the ways that you let me down
let my head hang low cause I keep you around
when we've got nothing left, left to talk about
but all the ways, all the ways that you let me down

Like when you say that you need space
I'd have to get on a plane
just to find you to tell you that you're wrong
I haven't seen you in a month or more

Or when you say you're lonely
was that message even meant for me?
I've seen the way you talk to other girls
did you think I wouldn't find out

Cause I could count all the ways that you let me down
let my head hang low cause I keep you around
when we've got nothing left, left to talk about
but all the ways, all the ways that you let me down

You, you try to cut me out cause you think that that will make you happy now
and you, you always turn around saying im someone you can't live without
well when you wake up, I won't be around

Candy Hearts are an American pop-punk band from Newark, New Jersey. The band's current line-up consists of vocalist/guitarist Mariel Loveland, drummer Matthew Ferraro and bassist John Clifford. The band was formed by Loveland and guitarist Kris Hayes (formerly of Nightmare River Band) in 2009. Loveland is the sole remaining original member. Their debut album, Ripped Up Jeans and Silly Dreams, was released for free online in 2010. It featured Loveland, Hayes, bassist Greg Baldwin and drummer Nick Noto.

Noto left the group in 2011 and was replaced by Christina Picciano. A new song, "What I'm Made Of," was released for free on their Bandcamp page the same year. The band also released a split seven-inch with Sister Kisser, which featured two new songs. Baldwin departed after the sessions and was replaced by Christian Migliorese. This line-up would go on to record the band's second album, entitled Everything's Amazing and Nobody's Happy. It was released via Kind Of Like Records on September 27, 2011. Picciano was the next member to depart in early 2012, and was replaced by Matthew Ferraro. An acoustic EP was released in March 2012. The band went into the studio with Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory and Shai Hulud months later to record their next EP. They would also get the chance to tour with New Found Glory in the winter of 2012. The EP, The Best Ways to Disappear, was released on November 7, 2012.

In April 2013, Migliorese parted ways with the band; and was replaced by John Clifford. The band also released a seven-inch, entitled Miles & Interstates, via Bridge Nine Records that year. 2014 saw Hayes, the only other original member of the band, depart to start a family and to be a stay-at-home dad. He has not been replaced, coverting the band into a trio. This line-up of the band returned to the studio once again to work with Chad Gilbert on their third studio album. The album, All the Ways You Let Me Down, was released in June 2014. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
