Sensitivity (Ralph's Rap) Lyrics

Listen baby
Don't even waste your tears on an insensitive man
There's better things for ya
I mean, what you really need is someone who cares
Someone who's gonna be there for you
Someone like me baby, someone with sensitivity, ooh
Do you understand? Do you feel it?
Hey, ooh, nah, nah, nah, nah
Girl, I know it's been hard since he went away
And left you so sad, you cry every day
Let me kiss your tears, erase all your doubt
'Cause for you I'm here, you won't be without love
(Listen baby)
Don't need a man that'll give you money
(No)
Come on let me show you just what you need honey
(I got what you need)
Don't need a man that'll treat you funny
(Ooh)
You need a man with sensitivity
A man like me
Someone who can love you
Someone who will need you
Someone who will treat you right, like me girl
Someone you can hold at night
Someone stable in your life, oh baby
You need a man with sensitivity
A man like me
Baby, honey there ain't another man
Ah you know, you know honey like I do baby
Hang in there, hang on in there baby
Oh, you need a man with sensitivity
A man like me
You see, you need someone who's there like a gentleman
If anybody can fit the description, baby I can
Someone who cares and dares to give himself completely
You got it in me, you need a man with sensitivity
You need a man, not any man warm and sensitive
That's what I can give
You need a man, not any man warm and sensitive
That's what I can give
You need a man, not any man warm and sensitive
(I'm a gentleman)
That's what I can give
Man
(Man)
With
(Man)
Sensitivity
(Man)
A man like me
Don’t need a man that’ll give you money
(Don’t need a man ooh)
Come on let me show you just what you need, honey
(Oh I got what you need)
Don’t need a man that’ll treat you funny
(Oh I’m a gentleman at heart)
You need a man with sensitivity
A man like me
Baby a little love for me
(Save it baby)
Sensitivity
Baby I got what you need
(I got it)
Sensitivity
Save a little love for me
(Save your love for me, yeah)
Sensitivity
Man with
(Hold on)
Sensitivity
(Hold on babe)
A man like me
Hold on my darlin'
(Hang on in there baby, everything gonna be all right)
Don't let in doubt
(I'll erase all your doubts)
Hold on my darlin'
(I'm here for you baby, no matter what)
Man with sensitivity
(It's okay)
A man like me
Don’t need a man that’ll give you money
Don’t need a man that’ll
(No, oh, sugar, no)
Don’t need a man that’ll treat you funny
Don’t need a man that’ll
(Oh, sugar, no)
Don’t need a man that’ll
(Give you money)
Don’t need a man that’ll
(Gentleman)
Ah sugar no, no, no, no

Ralph Tresvant, aka Rizz (born Ralph Edward Tresvant Jr., on May 16, 1968 in Roxbury, Massachusetts) is an American tenor singer, best known as one of the lead singers in R&B act New Edition.

Tresvant sang lead on many of the New Edition lead singles including "Candy Girl", "Cool It Now" and "If It Isn't Love". Tresvant led the group from 1983 to 1989.

Despite the success of groupmates Bobby Brown, Bell Biv DeVoe, and Johnny Gill, Tresvant was cautious about his own solo career. Signing to MCA Records, Tresvant let his apprehension be known in several interviews.

Nevertheless, well-known producers Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis were confident in his abilities after having worked with him on the album Heart Break. They wrote the song "Sensitivity" for him which hit #1 on the R&B charts, #4 on the Hot 100 and it went gold. His self-titled album released shortly after in 1990 and went platinum as well, topping the R&B charts. The album scored two more hits with "Stone Cold Gentleman" reaching #3 on the R&B charts and "Do What I Gotta Do" which reached #2.

Tresvant appeared in the movie House Party 2 in 1991 and the play, "The Man Of Her Dreams" in 2002. In 1993, he released his second album, It's Goin' Down. The album gave Tresvant greater involvement as he produced many of the tracks himself. However, perhaps due to limited promotion, the album failed to perform commercially as well as the debut.

In October 2004 "Sensitivity" appeared in popular videogame Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, playing on R&B/Soul radio station CSR 103.9.

On September 18, 2004, he married Amber Serrano.

Ralph's third solo album, Rizz Wa Faire, was released March 7, 2006. The first single from the album was "My Homegirl".

Tresvant will portray Reverend Winter in the 2008 film, Mama, I Want to Sing! starring pop-R&B singer Ciara. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
