Hateful Notebook Lyrics

The words she writes will change the world
She's much smarter than me
Inside she writes a side of herself
She won't let me see

Such a hateful little girl
Her little book is her whole world
It's all there in her little book
And I can't help but wonder
But she says I'll never understand

She says there's no love
And everyones out to get her
She keeps me shut out
And I don't want to let her

Such a hateful little girl
Her little book is her whole world
It's all there in her little book
And I can't help but wonder
What chapter I fit under, yeah

I'm a stone age male and that's a fact
There's so much more to me than that

Such a hateful little girl
Her little book is her whole world
She's writing in her little book
She don't like me
But she's got me hooked
And I can't help but wonder
What she's like between the covers
And I can't help but wonder
What she's like between the covers
And I can't help but wonder
What she's like between the covers, yeah

Descendents are an American punk rock band from Lomita, California, USA. They are known for being one of the early bands in the hardcore punk scene to sing about more personal and comical topics reflective of their own lives.

They were formed in 1978 by guitarist Frank Navetta (RIP) , bassist Tony Lombardo and drummer Bill Stevenson. Shortly after forming they enlisted Milo Aukerman and made what started out a surf band into a full fledged punk unit. The Descendents diverged from their punk peers perhaps because of the Beach Boys influences and sang about topics that touched many young punks' lives like parents, food, girls and being rejected.

This band separated due to Milo actually going to college (UCSD), like the title of their album. This and other constraints have made them famous for their long hiatuses, sometimes spanning a decade in length. The band is now spread out across the country and their future is somewhat uncertain. Lead singer Milo Aukerman currently resides in Newark, Delaware. He is a biochemist for the internationally known DuPont Chemical company, which is based out of Delaware. However, whenever the end of the Descendents seems to be approaching, Milo pops up again and the band releases a new record.

They have released 7 full length albums:
* Milo Goes to College (1982)
* I Don't Want to Grow Up (1985)
* Enjoy! (1986)
* All (1987)
* Everything Sucks (1996)
* Cool To Be You (2004)
* Hypercaffium Spazzinate (2016) Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
