So Be Damned Lyrics

You say that the one sent to guide you wants you to fall
You say that you should've seen him coming after it all
And you can't cry anymore, you've never been down this road before.

And so you stand in the silence away from it all
You drink to what he denied you
You pick up your wine, and then you fall

You've never been down this road before
Why should you climb when you're sure of the fall?

So be damned if that's what you're crying for
Maybe that's what you're hoping for
Maybe that's what you want.

Then go, be damned if that's what you're crying for
Tell me that's what you're praying for
Tell me that's what you want.

It's time, time to start clutching at straws again
Picking a fight that you can never win, never win, never win
In time, he's gonna feel so small
Cause you are the fire, you are the storm

Stay by the fire until you get warm
Stay by the fire until you get warm
Stay by the fire until you get warm
Stay by the fire until you get warm

You say that the one sent to guide you wants you to fall
You say that you should've seen him coming after it all
